The perpetual calendar complication has been a fascinating and useful feature on high-end watches for quite sometime. ROC Strap
Ok, all of your feedback has encouraged me to get a strap option. But now which one do I get? I really like both, but think the rubber might be a little too sporty for the dial, but also think the croc may be a little too dressy looking.

When you can see the lump on your watch

Illumination
I inherited a Submariner Date made in 1993-1994. I haven't found the original box, but I have found two return boxes from the Rolex Repair Division. The last repair was dated 2007 (what the repairs were I don't know). Question: the watch (dots) have no illumination at all. I can shine a flashlight on it with no avail. Is this normal?
