HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 139: The Trouble With Skulls & Seiko Loving
John is in Iceland but we still manage to stay warm with watches. We also cover Montegrappa's new Chaos watch (you'll either hate it or love it), and the nice looking new Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer Auto Chrono.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 139 here »Or, download the mp3 here and now.To follow along at home:See the Montegrappa Chaos in silver - check it out on our Facebook page (along with the comments) here and the GOLD version here. And we wrote about the Seiko Prospex Spring Drive Tuna SBDB008 Watch here. The URWERK tinkering with the movement is here. The Hamilton Khaki Pilot Pioneer Auto Chrono is here.

Battery for Breitling 2007 Aerospace Avantage
Looking to buy a battery for my 2007 Aerospace Avantage. Brought it into Birks in Toronto, Canada to get this done and after 2 weeks of them sending it to Breitling they were quoting me over $800 for an overhaul and would not just change the battery which they originally quoted me $150. Apparently Breitling will not change the battery on my watch due to it's age. I got the watch back as I was not going to spend $800 on it....i'd like to buy a replacement battery myself and try to change it myself.Any suggestion where I can source a battery? tried searching on the internet and was not able to find any....in the mean time I'll wear one of my panerai's but the Breitling was my Daily watch....
movement 315 Question
Does the 315 movement hack? How about the 324? Thanks.
Why Rolex, again?
So I'm at a restaurant with a group of friends who haven't seen each other in a while. The guy next to me remarks on how much he likes the watch worn opposite me, a big black quartz Diesel. They admire it for a bit, and move on. Nobody, including me, mentions the 2017 SS DJ I'm wearing in full view, which I didn't mind at all.Given that my watch probably was worth more than all the others at the table combined, and it got no attention when the topic of watches was raised, you might wonder why spend all that on Rolex? Many have said on TRF that they're not interested in the attention of others, but wear their Rolex for personal satisfaction. Here are some of my reasons:-- I like the history of the brand and of the DJ-- I enjoy the amazing engineering excellence making a chronometer this accurate-- For a daily wearer I want chronometer accuracy-- I wore quartz for many years but much prefer automatic sweep second hand and no battery replacement-- water resistance and the date are importan
