Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon Watches Baselworld 2015
When the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon?made its debut at Baselworld 2013, many took it as an instant classic, and there was good reason for that. Its black ceramic case, dial, crown, and pushers C paired with one of the cooler names the Swiss watch industry had come up with in a fairly long time-the "DSotM" quickly moved?from boutique store windows to months-long waiting lists. After last year's?Grey?Side Of The Moon (hands-on here), the amazing, deep black is back, this time around, with four new colorways. To cut straight to the chase, here are the four new models of the Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon, as seen from left to right on the image above: Sedna Black (reference 311.63.44.51.06.001), Vintage Black (reference?311.92.44.51.01.006), Pitch Black (reference?311.92.44.51.01.004), and the highly appropriately called Black Black (reference?311.92.44.51.01.005).First, the similarities: all four versions feature the Omega Co-Axial 9300 caliber with running seconds at

Set within the dial are also a 60-minute, 12-hour and 30-second chronograph counters, located at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock respectively. The counters at 3 and 9 o'clock are accented with red nuances. The date indication is offered in a round aperture, outlined in red. It resides beneath the Jacob Co "B" symbol, positioned at 12 o'clock. Completing the range of practical functions is a tachymeter scale, arranged on the extremity of the dial.
Introducing: The Grand Seiko Spring Drive 8 Day Power Reserve, A Rare Example Of Japanese Haute Horology From The Famed Micro Artist Studio
I think every hardcore watch nerd dreams of owning a piece hand-crafted by Seiko's Micro Artist Studio in Shiojiri, located in Japan's central Nagano region. The Micro Artist Studio is a tiny subset of the Seiko manufacture that is the absolute elite unit, responsible for hand-crafting not only the incredible Eichi II, but also the Credor Minute Repeater and Sonnerie. Today, for the first time, we saw a Grand Seiko that was given the Micro Artist treatment, and it did not disappoint. 1 OF 3 First, one must understand that the craftsman in the Micro Artist Studio are top, top tier. They are the group that visits no one short of Mr. Philippe Dufour with some regularity, and the group that Mr. Dufour to this day holds in extremely high regard. This is true high-end finishing of the highest order, an until now, this has been reserved for Credor product. I'd always wondered why we never saw an insanely high-end Grand Seiko, and now we have. 2 OF 3 Eve
New Acquisation Omega Speedmaster Circa 1996
Just acquired this classic Speedmaster 3513.33 for price of usd 888. Is it a good buy? Not much is known about this model, but I just love the guilloche on the dial.
Purchasing my first Omega tomorrow!
I'm quite excited! I originally wanted a Rolex GMT Master II Ceramic but just couldn't justify the price. My job has me traveling constantly and I really wanted the GMT function on a watch that goes well with any wardrobe. I had always loved the Planet Ocean and was just about ready to pull the trigger until I came across a brand new 2538.20 Seamaster GMT tucked away in the corner of the display case! I instantly fell in love. It has everything I was looking for functionality-wise, and looks killer. I'm headed back in the morning to complete the transaction and get it sized, so hopefully no one beats me to the punch.
