Sinn 857 Watch
I just got finished using a German proxy server to trick Sinn's website into thinking I was viewing it from their homeland. Why did I do this? To get the price of this new 857 collection watch for you. Sinn apparently uses geo-locating to protect their prices from being viewed by potential buyers outside of Germany. Probably because those prices vary from country to country. Nevertheless, I am still going to tell you the prices as that is only fair.To my knowledge Sinn hasn't hard-launched the new 857 and 857 S watch collection yet. Though, the pieces are right up there on their website. These are a more simple version of the existing 857 UTC models which contained a small central GMT hand. What the 857 really is however is an upgraded and larger version of the 657 and 657 S - a watch I proudly own but simply do not wear any longer as it is too small. What to choose?
Hi guys,I'm looking at adding a Speedmaster Professional to my collection, but I have three options. These are:1. LNIB - modern 2007 model from a grey dealer. 2. 1978 model from a grey dealer that offers one year warranty. No box or papers. 3. 1978 model, without box and papers. Needs a service, doing this with Omega would give me a two year warranty, and an as good as new watch. All these options are similarly priced, so that should not be taken into consideration. What do you think would be the best option, and why?

Add Sub ND now or wait a year???
Considering adding a No date Sub as sort of a daily beater type of watch. The kind of watch I wouldn't think twice about wearing fishing, or at the beach, or literally wherever. My question is, would it be smarter to wait a year, after Basel 2019, to see if Rolex upgrades the movement and makes any other changes, or is it maybe better to pick up a used one now, avoid the waiting lists, and save a few bucks potentially? Rolex 14060/M Submariner: Dial and inserts versions
I've just came across a very interesting read comparing the variants of 16610LV and it appears that there are 8(!) variants produced in a very short time span:.network54/Forum/20759...ary+Submariner(Hope is ok to post links to external forum)Some very subtle differences mark the different versions. I've started to dig in for similar info regarding the 14060 versions as I found out that the watch that I own a F-serial 14060M have a Fat Four bezel insert exactly as in the some LV variants (e.g. Mark 1 and Mark 2).It appears that Rolex used the Fat Four bezel inserts on certain Submariner models produced in 2003/4 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner watch.More info /confirmation of the above will be appreciated!More interestingly, on some dial variants of the 14060M the Swiss Made (below 6 o'clock) index spans over 5 minute ticks and on some over 3 minute ticks.I know, to some people these sort of details are quite boring and uneccessary but I love them - they make me ap
