Watches NEWS
BEST FROM: watches-dealer & Friends June 20, 2014
For most of us, our fathers have had a big influence on our lives and our tastes in watches, and in a special Father's Day article, we explore this relationship as part of this month's round-up. That aside, we also go hands on with new watches from Panerai, Omega, Rolex, and Tissot. For vintage watch lovers, we uncover a rare Breguet dive watch from the 60s and also check out a guide to buying vintage Rolex watches. Finally, for all the history lovers, we trace the beginnings of the Swatch Group and also find out how Glassh??te became the heart of German watchmaking.1. Panerai Luminor Submersible Left-Handed Titanio PAM569 Watch Hands-OnFor 2014, Panerai introduced a couple of new "destro" watches, meaning that the crown is on the left. One of them is the new Luminor Submersible Titanio PAM569. I like this watch for a couple of reasons, but mostly because it combines the best elements from previous Luminor Submersible watches. The hobnail dial and ecru lume look great and, quite fittin

Questions about PP 5205
Hi all,I've searched the forum and I've learned a lot about the 5205 (thanks to everyone here). I am leaning towards the 5205 darker dial and I'm requesting pics on a smaller wrist. Pics of the 5205 (any color)and comments are greatly appreciated.
Pam 1312 vs 312 size & color dilemma...
Hey guys,I am new to the forum and new to panerai. Looking to make my first panerai watch purchase and I need some help...I have been doing research online (exhaustively), and have visited my local AD for the in person experience. I initially went in with heart set on the 312. I tried both the 312 and 1312 and I preferred the overall aesthetic and cleaner look of the 312 dial, but much preferred the thinner fit of the 1312... but I was just not sure of the ecru color, blue second hand and automatic written on dial... although it isn't that obstrusive in person, it still has me thinkingWhy couldn't they just make the 312 exactly the same (or even with the ommision of the date and the 9) with the new 1312 case size?? Is there another model that can satisfy those criteria?I keep thinking I'll just get the bigger 312 case, then I read countless articles of owners that say it's hard to live with height and too heavy case on daily basis. Perhaps I'll learn to love the blue second hand and fa
