Nothing makes us happier at worn&wound than to find a watch that is both great looking and a great deal. After all, we are a site about affordable and well-designed wristwatches. So, when we happened upon the Obris Morgan Branco, we knew immediately that we had to get the watch on the site. ?On paper, it's just about the best deal we've ever seen: outstanding features, a handful of extras, and killer looks�� what's not to like? 1995 Royal Oak Moon Phase
Hi just signed up hoping someone could helpI own a number of timepieces but not an AP I have seen a Royal Oak and love the particular model above, I have seen one on a jewellery acution site which has the following issue Quick day and date set are not currently functioning. When using the crown to change the day and date, the date currently changes but the day does not. Day set will require attention.I believe the watch may have previously been sold as I looked back in the auction archive and have found either the same watch or a different watch with the same issue, I have made the assumption someone brought it and either couldn't remedy the issue or did not want to pay for the repair. I'm not put off but would love someone to have a guess at the repair bill ?500- ?1k? Really appreciate feedback thanksLee

O ring part of service or an extra?
I gave my watch to a local jeweler who said it would be cleaned,lubricated scratches removed etc. We agreed on a price ($300) which is cheaper than his normal rate on the premise if I was satisfied with his work I would give him another watch to do the same. He calls yesterday and say the watch needs an Oring which is $75. He said its a genuine omega part. He also said there was an alternate for like $20. Is this the normal pricing for an Oring or is does something sound askew?

So being new to the Patek world, I just love how the Aqua's 324 movement makes a noise, and rotor can actually be felt spinning.I find myself when wearing my Rolex, I still do the movement, until I remember that I am not wearing the Patek.I am losing it.
