In what was, in general, a somewhat subdued Baselworld, and one in which we saw more incremental improvements than spectacular debuts, there were still a few new product introductions that really stood out. AP RO Offshore bulky or not?
How does a AP RO Offshore novelty wear under a cuff shirt and with a suit? Is it bulky and uncomfortable or does it only wear casually with shirt sleeves rolled up ?

Well after much debate and vacillating back and forth, I FINALLY made the plunge and purchased a BNIB Omega PO 600m 42mm from a Trusted Seller here on the forum. I got it at a great price and traded in one of my Breitling to offset some of the pain.It bares mentioning, I was really concerned with the case thickness as everyone is well aware of, so it does not bare repeating. But I have to say that the main decisions for pulling the plug were two-fold. First, it was increasingly hard to find a well cared for previous model 2500-series PO, especially a 2500D model (just to obtain a thinner case size). And the more important factor was getting into a new timepiece with the newest 8500 movement. Obviously things like a ceramic bezel and improved bracelet didn't hurt the decision making either.Sooooooo......to that end, I am in day two of ownership and things are looking & feeling great. Looking at acquiring my first Patek around Christmas or Chinese New Year. I currently work/live in southern China so going into Hong Kong is very convenient for me.I stepped into the Patek Boutique in HK to try on the models I'm looking at and to get pricing. They offered 10% discount without much effort but I would prefer to go through someone's trusted AD if possible.Does anybody have one they can refer me to?Thanks in advance.

Thinking of selling my 88GMT and replace with??
So here it goes. I am thinking of selling my Panerai 088 as I don't wear it much and I have been secretly admiring two other watches. One is the almighty 372, and the other more recently as I tried it on at my local AD is the Rolex Explorer ll polar( white face). I had no idea that the Polar was going to sing to me the way it did. So, I am about to sell my 088 to a friendof mine and I am torn on which to buy. If I buy the Rolex I can buy it here in my hometown from the AD with a discount as a repeat customer. If I decide on the 372, well I have to buy from one of our TRF trusted sellers or from Watchuwant based in Miami which I will be visiting in a couple of weeks and stress myself out with smuggling my Panerai across the US/Canada border. What do I get? Regardless, I will have both by the end of the calendar year as I have a sickness like most of you and won't sleep until I have both!
