F.P.Journe Vagabondage II: Serious Stealth
F.P.Journe presents the second chapter of the Vagabondage Limited Series, Vagabondage II , which will be produced in a limited series of 69 pieces in platinum and 68 pieces in 18K red gold, available from all authorized F.P.Journe points of sale. This piece is the next in line in one of the more interesting lineages in modern watchmaking. In 2004, for the 30th Anniversary of Antiquorum, F.P. Journe created three unique pieces in rose, white and yellow gold, to be sold at a Geneva charity auction in favour of the ICM, the Research Institute for Brain and Spinal Cord Diseases in Paris. These were F.P.Journe creations, but with an unusual shape. For the first time, the Geneva Manufacture created a watch with a flat Tortue-shaped case and a dial without the F.P.Journe signature. 5980 Blue Dial
Why don't they make a SS 5980 with this dial, it's just amazing, don't like TT's very much, even if I wouldn't mind having this one but would definitely like better if it was SS, in any case probably my favorite Nautilus dial, can someone please call Patek and have this fixed? What are your opinions on this dial and do you think they will put it on other combinations? I fell that they won't but could be wrong...5980_1AR_001.png

Have been thinking about it for one year now and finally pulled the trigger on moving my 114060 for a 14060 (box + papers as well!). I am loving the 5 digit reference and look forward to continuing in this crazy world of Rolex

Awful RSC New York Experience
Sorry for the long story I just needed to vent tonight. So... I took my 116710LN GMT into RSC New York to get fixed because an atrocity was done by an independent watch maker (scratched dial due to incorrect hand setting, smudged dial and scratched hands). In hind sight completely my fault. Should have gone to Rolex directly. First I was $500 deep with independent and Rolex... $1,400 for new dial and hands and basic service costs. In late January I drop the watch off at RSC. After waiting what felt like an eternity they ship it to me finally. And after a couple of weeks of wear something didn't feel right I look closer and inspect and there was a weird splotch on the GMT hand. Now the month of May, I drive in the city and they tell me they are sorry they will fix it for free. Now it is July I take the train in to pick it up instead of them ship it. Within 30 seconds of receiving the watch I wipe it down with their branded cleaning clothe and I look at the crystal and there is a smudge
