I really do like this watch even if it does have a bit of the Swatch Group stench from it. Let me clarify, the Swatch Group does not stinkbut corporate culture when it comes to watch making does. Union Glashutte is a great German brand, but I am afraid that the Swiss overlords are keeping it from its full potential. I mean, you really can't even get the Union Glashutte watches in the US, crazy right? THE "perfect" watch 5711 blue dial
I'm young, but..... after several watches that i owned.... My favourite still the 5711 (also 3700). Just perfect, proportions, elegance, class, presence, the unique character.....I have to say that sometimes this perfection get me bored a little bit. As a human i get used to it... that's the only problem... i try to rotate it with other watches, but is not the same. My mind will always be with the 5711.Tastes change. Sure. But for now is hard to wear something different.A pic from today
