Bring a Loupe: An Original Lange Tourbillon, A Tiffany-Signed Explorer, A Very Fake Universal Geneve, And Some Other Interesting Watches
The selection for this week's Bring A Loupe doesn't have any particular theme – its aim was simply to find some of the coolest watches available right now. You will find one of the greatest Lange watches ever made; a Rolex Explorer with a very special dial; and an electric blue Memovox from Jaeger-LeCoultre. There will also be one Universal Geneve that you should not be willing to buy under any circumstances. And you will discover why a Patek was recently sold for 10 times its initial estimate. This is your Bring A Loupe for December 11, 2015. A Lange & Sohne Tourbillon Pour le Merite, One Of The Four Founding Models 1 OF 12 In Walter Lange's own words, the Tourbillon Pour le Mérite was the "technical masterpiece" of Lange re-birth in 1994. First Audemars!!!!!
Hello, I am a collector of Rolex, maniac with the brand, but the few days I had the opportunity to get an Audemars. The model in question was the RO ref 15400 with white dial.I Always questioned if the quality and the finish of the AP would be even higher than that of Rolex and today could prove in my hands.I can't stop looking and admire the brightness and the finish of the watch, bracelet is a piece of art.Another detail is the difficulty in getting a good picture of the watch due to its brightness. Some picsOne Hug to all Rolex Friends!!!!!!
just bought a 2534.50...need info.
Hello everyoneI am very excited to announce that I just bought a pre-loved Seamaster GMT 50th Anniversary model.I am very pleased with my luck in finding one in great condition and in my choice :)Will share pics in a few days when I have some time.I would like to know more about the watch as there are some things I cannot explain about the watch:1. it does not have the speedy bracelet but the bond one and yet doesnt have either the speedy or the bond clasp, but a diffrent clasp altogether.why is that so and is taht so on any other models seamasters too?2. what is the significance of the '50 years' marking at the back? was a limited edition but then it doesnt have alimited edition number at the back or was a limited production model? if it was only a limited prodduction model, could you help me with when it was generally made aqnd for how long was this model made?thank you in advance for your kind help :)regards,Asad
