Mhle-Glashtte R. Mhle & Sohn Watches Celebrate The 20th Anniversary Of The Brand's Revival
It is not uncommon for us these days to read of a brand celebrating its history, be it 10 years or 100. Oftentimes, that takes the form of a new watch being released that draws inspiration from (or is perhaps just a re-release of) something from back in the archives. On the other hand, brands can go a different direction, as we see with the Mhle-Glashtte R. Mhle & Sohn line-up.Now, if you are familiar with the brand, you might know that 2014 marks the 20-year anniversary of the brand being revived by Hans-Jrgen Mhle. Interestingly enough, it is also 145-year anniversary of when the brand was first founded by Robert Mhle. Mhle & Sohn a new line that features some interesting movements. For the initial lineup, there are three watches - the Mhle-Glashtte Robert Mhle Auf/Ab (20 pie
World timers - are they still useful?
I think the Patek world timers are great looking watches, with an artistic and well executed complication, but with countries changing their timezones it's becoming increasingly less useful.First it was Moscow, and today i read that Spain is considering moving its clocks back an hour to GMT. When you factor in the inconsitent observances of DST, I'm happy to report i'm no longer tempted...Curious how others feel. Does anyone buy these for their useful complication, or it is simply about the aesthetic?
How tight should the strap on the 5167 be?
I currently wear my 5167 daily and the watch moves up and down my wrist and feel it could lose another link (rubber strap cut). How tight should it be?
When did 5065 turn into 5167
From my searching on the net, I found the 5065 was created in 1997. I can't find when the switch occurred. Anyone know?

I don't remember if I shared this previously or not. It's my old K-serial Photoshop composition. Cheers.
