The Unique Blancpain Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar Wristwatch For The Only Watch Auction
Blancpain has just released a unique piece that they will be contributing to the Only Watch auction coming up in November. This year they will be donating a special and unique version of the Villeret Traditional Chinese Calendar wristwatch. 1 OF 2 The watch was exclusively designed for the Only Watch auction. The Chinese Calendar complication, developed in-house, is a tribute to the age-old culture. The dial features the hours, minutes, and the Gregorian calendar alongside the Chinese calendar's major indicators. This includes the traditional double-hour indication, day, month (with leap months), signs of the zodiac, and the five elements and the 10 celestial stems. The combination of the celestial stems with the 12 animals of the zodiac that represent the terrestrial branches follows the 60-year cycle that is pivotal to the Chinese culture. New Yorks Times And AP
Today's New York Times edition had a Watch Your Time insert. It's mainly a promotional vehicle with some watch talk. Page 38 shows a 44mm Ceramic Chrono but describes the 42mm black chrono from the new series of ceramic pushers and crowns. There is also a highlight on Page 52 on the Concept Tourbillon and more detailed article on page 54 about the Tourbillon and AP Offshore history. Ok light reading.
AP 15202 Variations
Hey guys,I honestly didn't know there was more than one variation but apparently the font and dial color varies on the new 15202. So:1) How many are there:AP 15202ST.OO.1240ST.01 (?)AP 15202ST.OO.0944ST.03 (dark blue)AP 15202ST.OO.0944ST.02 (light blue)Others?2) What is the difference between each and why all these variations? Is the latest one the AP 15202ST.OO.1240ST.01?3) if they were all available BNIB (this might not be reality) but which one would you opt for and why?Pictures and comments would be really helpful. Thanks

More than a little cliche' but I could not resist.
Trade dilemma
Hey. So I have a hulk and black ceramic Daytona. My brother decided to one up my Daytona and after trying his I really liked the weight of precious metal. So considering trading my sub and Daytona for a white gold blue dial 116509 (see below). Part of me wants to do it and part of thinks it's really dumb. Talk me in or out of it. Would need a little cash on top of trade and wouldn't do anything til after Basel. IMG_0223.JPGSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
