Review Of The Casio G-Shock GW056A-1V From WatchReport.com
I think of the Casio G-Shock GW056A as the G-Shock for people who don't like G-Shocks. It's certainly the most subtle and unrecognizable G-Shock currently in the lineup, and most importantly, the slimmest. It has the same octagonal case as many of the older G-Shocks (and the new retro tribute G-Shocks), but the brushed stainless steel bezel makes the shape much more pronounced. In fact, the shape is the first thing you notice about the GW056A. My wife calls it my Battlestar Galactica watch because the unconventional shape is similar to the shape paper will apparently assume if the world is ever destroyed by Cylons (of course, I'm talking about the new Battlestar Galactica).Click on the above text for the full article at WatchReportwatches-dealer.No items matching your keywords were found.
Man is the 5960 a beauty!!
I don't know why but pictures of the 5960 never quite caught my attention at all.In the flesh it was a different case.I don't know how else to explain it, but it is just such a cool watch! Being mostly dressed in casuals, I find this is one of few options out there with Patek for a casual watch with complications (excluding the Nautilus/Aquanaut line).Went back again after I had left to try it on, simply because it is hard to come by in the flesh, I wanted to see it again, and I was in Frankfurt just for the day.Definitely a possibility for one to come in the future.Would love your feedback, and also other options for complicated Pateks that in your opinion work well with casuals. Thanks everybody!
At the end I ended up
at the dark side. After being Panerai opponents throughout my watchcollectinglifefor the simple reason that the crown guard went away if you want to have the watch on your wrist becomes nothing good I think with this grotesque bodywork. Then they make a sandwich dial that is completely outstanding made me get up the eyes of Destro (left-hinged) model, which is a good compromise. The model 219 since missing a second hand made me the confident because I think Panerai withsub second be completely wrong proportions because it is so small relative to the rest of the watch, I think.Furthermore, I would like to have it brushed instead of mirror finish which is likely to be what it is suffering. The wife was with and inspected during unpacking and thought it seemed to be a crap watch when they sent a screwdriver. You should have it when it breaks down?Glassback and a decorated movement looks nice on a watch that can handle 300 meters.Naturally, it is alright readable in dark.
SD43 and Rolex Freak.
I will also post a piece in Who's Who but I would like to share my little story here also.I purchased an SD43 from Rolex Freak last week. The deal was seamless from start to finish with great communications and I could not have asked for a more accommodating or professional individual to buy from. The watch arrived at my home in the UK on Wednesday afternoon - less than an hour AFTER I had left to go to the airport to head back to work in Iraq for a month I would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Sandro for his superb service.I now have 29 sleepless night to spend waiting for my baby......
Should I swap my 116610 Sub for a 16610?
Hello all,I have a 116610 Submariner that I got as a gift a few years ago that I really like, but I have relatively small wrists so it looks a bit large on me. I'm just not crazy about the size of the case and the bulkier appearance. I have an offer from a reputable dealer to trade it straight across for a V Serial 16610 Submariner that's in excellent conditionAnybody have any thoughts on whether or not this is a good trade? It feels like a fair trade, but I'm a bit worried I may regret not having the ceramic dial somewhere down the line. I have a 16710 GMT that I love to wear and feel like the 16610 sub is a good fit.
