Back from Clearwater
Got my Diver back from APSC. Work done under warranty and got supplemental two years warranty. Came in double boxed, priority overnight, and the watch plastic wrapped as if it came new. Got to give Betsy and the rest of the team two thumbs up! Although the watch is running +2 seconds in a 1/4 of a day (approximately +8 seconds a day I will update on how it goes in the bext 24 hours). Was sent in for 15+ seconds a day. 5053R: Any red flags?
There are several of this model on the internet (known companies), all roughly the same price: 24K or so. I realize I may need to have the one I eventually buy serviced.I tried one on in local tourneau (they were asking 30K plus for one in only fair condition, no papers) and the wife and I really liked the pre-2007 model better than the new Officer's model.
