Watches NEWS
Joining the AP club!
I got this in the mail today. My first AP. Everything about this watch is amazing. The 15400 is the perfect size and really carries a lot of wrist presence. I have a feeling many of my other watches will be jealous of the wrist time this is going to get. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm losing faith
Dropped my 15300 into AD 3 weeks ago to have the B1 service water resistance carried out. I got the call last week to say all complete and ready for me to collect. On Saturday I popped into the AD to pick up my beauty and was surprised when the AD handed my watch over to me that it had no plastic protection on and was not in a AP service box(thought this was the norm after any service). Anyway before leaving the store I checked the service book to make sure the B1 sticker had been completed and dated well it had not and this kinda got me thinking has the service actually been carried out. The sales assistant assured me although the service manager was not working Saturday they would give me a call on the Monday. Well all weekend I been wondering if the service had been carried out and so I made my mind up I would give London AP service a call first thing Monday. So called AP this morning I didn't tell them what my thoughts were I just asked if they could tell me if B1 test had been ca
5227 dial change?
I noticed in the 2016 Patek catalogue, the dial of the 5227j and r is listed as lacquered ivory, and the pic of the 5227r shows a very white looking dial. However, all of the 5227j/r's I've seen have a dial that looks quite off-white, even yellowish. Does anybody know if the dial color has changed from before 2016 (more off white) to after (more white)?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2 new entry level models
Don't think they've been posted here beforeEta movementSpring barsSnap backWhat do you think, good or bad idea that Panerai launches a bunch of cheaper watchesSome say good because they still need to sell and the luxury market is in a difficult situation todayOthers said bad because a luxury brand should stay expensive and thes watches are more in the Tudor range than the Rolex range
DeepSea Dweller Deep Blue on Nato
Love the bracelet. The micro adjust on the wrist is superbly engineered (and I believe only on the DSSD). But need to color it up sometimes. I am partial to Omega NATO because they are well made. Have another brand on order. Here is the blue and grey bond I picked up today. Will buff Omega off the keeper tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
