I tend to keep mega popular watches like Rolex and Omega at arms length for the most part. It's not that they aren't nice watches, but it is too obvious of a choice. As though you didn't put a lot of effort into getting your watch because it is the default for many people. Walk around with an Omega and people know the brand, it's nothing particularly unique or eye catching. But then again, there is a reason some of these models are so popular.Omega has the rare privilege of selling true classics. And while I am not the biggest fan of all their watches, the Swatch Group owned brand has their share of laudable designs. Today I am speaking of the Speedmaster series of watches. What am I missing? 15400 vs. 15202
I'm looking to get one of the aforementioned pieces next to add to my collection. I love the navy dial on what looks to be the same on both pieces, but I'm a bit puzzled...What's the difference between the two? I get that one is 41mm vs. 39mm and the 15202 is nicknamed the Jumbo and Ultrathin, however I'm not seeing much difference at all.When comparing the 15202's $20k+ price and the 15400's $11-15k price (depending upon color dial), I only have one question....What gives? Hopefully I'm really missing a key detail that values the anniv much higher...

I understand the 690 was limited to 500 pieces at it’s release. Is there historical precedence that Panerai always keeps to their number? Could more be released? I know it’s a tough question, as only Panerai execs could probably answer, but its still on the website. What are your thoughts?

Don't Buy A Gold Sub (like the 116619)!!!
Started out as a perfectly happy owner of a Sub-C.Watch for everything. Gym, or riding dirt bikes in random Asian jungles, paragliding in Nepal, 4AM in seedy strip clubs in Bangkok, afterparties in Budapest. Normal life and all. You name it, a plain black steel sub blends right in. Nobody notices. And you're not going to break it.
