Magrette Moana Pacific Chronograph Review
We were very excited a few months ago when Magrette announced the upcoming release of two chronographs built around Seagull ST1901 movements. We thought, wow, there's a brand that is willing to take a little risk to bring out an interesting and affordable watch. Mechanical chronographs are unfortunately all too rare in the sub $1,000 price range, largely because few brands other than ETA make movements that boutique brands can use. So, using a Chinese movement to reach an accessible price point is a great thing to do. On top of that, we already knew from Blake's review of the Regattare that Magrette makes quality watches with interesting looks. Just added to my watch family. Was a toss up between this and the Rolex BLNR but in the end, it wasn't even close.It will now keep my Navitimer company on off days

Hi guys, never really looked into Omega watches before until the 35th anniversary one caught my eye. Any idea how much it would cost to source one?

Stopped by my local AD this morning to get my wife's earrings repaired. I always browse when I can, and I have been on hunt for a watch for my wife. She has finally jumped on the Rolex bandwagon after much work. She fancied the smaller 26mm size, which has been fairly elusive if not impossible to source. She requested a 26mm TT with silver face and roman numeral dial. Been looking for about a year, the grey dealers weren't able to locate one. I was afraid my next option would be eBay, but was a bit apprehensive. However today, when browsing the AD had a 26mm TT silver face with roman numerals in the case that was just put out this week. It's pre-owned but never sized. They have also ran it through for a complete tune up with their in-house rolex watchmaker. Price was right so I grabbed it. Christmas shopping done!
