Watches NEWS
Special features of the watch include its titanium face and rubber straps
Only 50 of the Indicator series of watches will be built, and of these only 11 will be the range-topping variant you see here. Special features of the watch include its titanium face and rubber straps designed to resemble the tires on an actual Porsche car. The face includes a stop watch and second timer, and a dial turns from green to red when the watch runs low on power.
My first Patek 5712/1A... I love it!
Here's my first Patek and I love it... I'm a new member as well.
Most comfortable model
I was wondering what was the most comfortable model Patek. Obviously a lot of factors contribute to determining comfort (bracelet, hairy wrist, wrist shape, weight of metal, case size, etc). Just looking at pictures or trying something on at the AD isn't insightful enough to opine on the topic IMO. What's your most comfortable Patek and why?
No love for WG Nautiluses?
Hi all, it's been more or less one year I took interest in Patek and I was just thinking that I can't remember a single incoming thread about a WG 5712 or 5711, is there no love at all for those watches here? I must admit that even if the 5712G is a great watch it would come for me only after the SS and RG versions, I saw one in real but it was in the Patek Paris salon, and found the dial interesting but was not very impressed by it, but have heard that the slate dial, seems that they call it like that, in direct light has a beautiful shade of silver/grey.If there are any owners of the 5712G or 5711G, could you please post pic, I would love to see how the dial looks like in the wild, one of the most beautiful dials is IMO the 5712R, Jorge who posted a lot of pics of his posted some where the dial is brown, grey and even kind of blue, I even thought when I saw them that they were photoshopped, so would like to know and see what kind of shades the dial goes into.At the time when I was lo
Vintage: Hands painted
Any thoughts on a Vintage Sub that has had the hands painted to match the dial that has really nice patina? What might that do to the value moving forward? Should it matter?
