Gustafsson & Sj?gren Blizzard and Aurora Watches Are So "Metal"
Everyone's favorite metal working watch makers Gustafsson & Sj?gren (GoS) are back with two new watch models. The line continues to evolve in a conservative manner (aside from the Damascus steel that is). Patrik Sj?gren and Johan Gustafsson have found that their customers prefer more classically styled watches - who'd have thought? It is actually true though. There is a tendency for us watch lovers to enjoy reading about wild timepieces, but when it comes down to it we want to wear something more conservative. Does this observation fit with your habits?I previously discussed the G0S Dragon watch, where you can look for a bit more details about the brand. GoS are essentially fine metal workers who still have a robust shop making blades. Because the popularity of the artistic metal work lends itself to other fine creations (and because lots of knife and sword lovers also like watches), their talents with metal apply to watches well. Wow, AP - I'm a fan
Been trying Daytonas trying to find a dial that feels right - I want a gold watch with leather strap - and nothing seemed to really click.Then I tried on a rose gold royal oak day date with brown leather strap. I put it on and it just clicked, looked and felt 'right'... just a shame that it is listed ��24,500!!! Will try and find a used one now though at a price that works :)

Vintage speedmasters
One of my top 5 all time watches is the Omega Speedmaster 376.0822 - Maybe even top 2. One day, one day ...... !!However been tracking an Omega Speedmaster Pro Mark IV 176.009 for sale on another forum. Slightly over priced in my opinion but I think thats reflected in fact its not selling.Swithering whether to dip into my 75/ 80% 1680 fund ........!! A sign of age I'm holding back ..... !! Maybe this one for after the 1680 ..... !!Anyone got a Mark IV 176.009 & some wrist shots to temp me ....... !! Particulary interested on how it sits on the wrist & the height ?

Yet for some reason i enjoy it. Looks more formal on stock leather strap, yet does a nice sporty look when the band is changed to Rubber B with red stitching.
