Casio G-Shock 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Lightning Yellow Watches
Along with a host of other watches Casio releases the Lightning Yellow collection for the 30th Anniversary of Casio G-Shock. As they say, they intended to capture the "G-Shock toughness" in this shockingly?vivid color, and that "this collection seamlessly combines the legendary shock resistant structure with high performance functionality." That may very well be true, but for now, the only thing I feel in this ~110 Fahrenheit summer haze is the vibrant yellow color cunningly growing on me. I really do need something cool in this (almost) melting room - and one of these just might be it!The one sporting the latest design of the lot is to the left on the image below: the Casio G-Shock GDX6930E-9. Picked up a silver Colt recently
Makes an interesting alternative to my Sub...about the same size, dresses up or down equally well. This is my first experience with a polished bracelet and the verdict is not in yet, but I'll give it time to see if it grows on me. If it doesn't, I might have to consider getting it brushed.
Funny how things grow on you...
I thought the 5711 was the premier Nautilus but the more and more I see the 5712 the more I can't stop thinking about it. The shades of blue in different angles mixed with the red and MP get me more each time I see one. Some of the pics on Instagram are phenomenal. Those who has followed my posts know that I'm a huge 5167 fan, however I might have to make the 5712 my first Patek. I realize in the end I'll get both but know I won't be completely satisfied should I spring for the aqua first.Arnaud, you're spot on buddy. You preach that it grows on you and couldn't be more right.
5110 WT question
Looking for some help...did all 5110 world timers come with both a sapphire and solid case back, or did it depend on the metal?
Question about rolex bracelets
