Atlanta Omega Boutique GTG was First Class
The Atlanta Omega Boutique at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta hosted our ATL Spring GTG. Oh my, it was first class! Boutique Manager, Calvin Fong, and his associate, Brent Reames, working with our ATL area Omega guru, Fr. John Shinall, put together a fantastic event. Leta Saveints, Omega's district manager for the Southeast came up from Palm Beach. Omega National Training and Sales Manager, Charles Laevens, flew in from his New York office to share a very informative presentation to the 23 WIS who attended. The coffee and donuts tasted good on arrival and then after the presentation we walked a few store-fronts away to the posh Tavern at Phipps where Omega hosted our group to lunch. After a delicious meal we returned to the Boutique to handle and admire the complete Omega watch collection. I have tried them both on and like them equally, so I am trying to think of pros and cons. Whichever one I purchase it will be used. Not paying new prices. And most likely going the TS route.Any thoughts or feedback on how I can separate one from the other in choosing?Does one have a much stronger chance of holding value in 5-10 years than the other?

DD40 + Steel Royal Oak vs RG Royal Oak
Im very close to going down to the Rolex AD this morning to pick up a yellow gold DD40 with champagne dial. However, I got to thinking last night that I could drive a bit further and add my steel Royal Oak 15400ST to the cash and get a full rose gold Royal Oak 15400OR...What would you go for? In my opinion when it comes to a full metal watch, yellow gold suits me better than rose gold. However, there is no denying that the 15400OR is one hell of a watch and would be great to own, looking incredible on the wrist... but is it better than a DD40 AND a steel Royal Oak 15400ST??
