Opinion The Future Of Watchmaking
Watchmakers will be be superfluous and skills will have to adapt to the multitude of different products that will permeate the market. Inevitably, monitoring mechanisms will become more complex and the skills of the watchmaker must improve to operate effectively through this world more complex and more complex.

Wearing a Patek 5167 is like ....

Incoming- new to PP family!
....Had a busy day between client meetings and nonstop communications with Oscar (Bodybump) who was able to amazingly find me a BNIB 5167 on strap(Thank you for the hard work to source the piece, and putting up with me!) Said goodbye to my AP Diver (much love- time to move on-but could come back to the collection someday). A 5167 and DSSD is a fine balance for now.....and should be wearing a 5167 for my flight Thursday night! (if it makes it in time between leaving client site and flying out for the weekend.... ...it's race against time- fingers crossed!!! If not, I'll pick it up on Monday)Will post pictures upon receipt. Finally able to to progressively (Timex, Tag, PAM, Omega, Rolex, Rolex, AP) reach one of my childhood dreams of owning (merely taking care for the next generation ) a Patek. 116618LB (YG Sub with blue dial)228235 (Rose gold DD with olive dial)I'm debating between these two very different PM watches. I have tried them both on and like them equally, so I am trying to think of pros and cons. Whichever one I purchase it will be used. Not paying new prices. And most likely going the TS route.Any thoughts or feedback on how I can separate one from the other in choosing?Does one have a much stronger chance of holding value in 5-10 years than the other?

Removing the SubC Oyster Bracelet
I have a question about removing the oyster bracelet on my SubC. Specifically it has to do with the glidelock clasp. I already have the Bergeron 7825 tweezer tool, so removing the endlinks is easy. But I'd like to separate the bracelet at the clasp into 2pieces before removing the endlinks WITHOUT unscrewing a link. On my Explorer with easy link I could do this by removing the micro adjustment springbar inside the clasp. I can't tell if I can do the same thing on the glidelock though.
