Hands-On: The New Seiko Prospex 200m Divers, SRP775 And SRP777, Two Dive Watches Made Like Quartz Never Happened
This year we've got two new additions to the Seiko family of entry and mid-level diver's watches. These are the new-to-the-Prospex line, cushion-cased-shaped dive watches, which for the U.S. market, currently consists of two references: SRP775 (with bracelet) and SRP777 (on a silicon rubber strap). Seiko's entry level dive watches have probably been the first automatic mechanical watch for more future watch enthusiasts than any other type of watch (except possibly the Seiko 5) and with good reason: they represent a combination of honesty, practicality, durability, and history that, along with a price that puts them in reach for anyone with an interest in mechanical watches, makes them a no-brainer. So how well do the new models measure up to the classics? Let's take a look. 1 OF 12 Before getting started on the watches, a bit about Seiko nomenclature. The vintage Seiko divers that the new Prospex models most resemble are the cushion-cased 6306/9, 150-meter
41.5 Skyfall AT8500
Did Omega announce this at Basel under the radar? Anybody have a link to an official launch of a full size Skyfall Aqua Terra?
Who plans going to Basel this year?
Does anyone know if Patek launch their new models the opening day of Basel, a few days before for the press? And who plans to go there? I will probably have to come back in France for business in March if I can I would like to try to go, is it possible to order a model there or is it just to introduce them to the watch loonies like us?My wife has a cousin who lives on the french side very close to Basel like this she could see her cousin and I could go see Patek.Do you need special invitations or you just need to pay the entrance? Thanks for your replies
Something in Lume Pearl?
Ok, is this even possible, something permanent in the lume pip pearl?Just picked up the watch from my AD today and here it is later in the day and I'm really starting to study it. I had noticed what I thought was lint or a thread on the pearl earlier today, but didn't think much of it. Now home and trying to wipe it off and I think the sucker is somehow in the actual pearl. I'm happy to have been able to walk in and buy a Hulk, so it's not going anywhere. I'm just surprised to see this thing. I want to keep rubbing away on it, but I don't think it's going anywhere.Ever seen anything like this?
16613 sub
Howdy guys,An opportunity came along for a 2015 16613 two tone 18k blue face/bazele, no papers, it is authentic, alway loved the look but avoided anything sport rolex that is not stainless as I knew they had harder time retaining value.... What does the market give to these models if I was to move on it? I see them on line from 7-12k used.... Thats all over the map.... Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
