Hi End Aquanaut - 5164r vs 5168g
I made my choice last year but I do like the larger size of the new one...
Vintage Patek on Ebay
Im thinking about exploring a Vintage Patek, but have minimal knowledge...These seem relatively inexpensive for owning a Patek....Whats the catch???.ebay/itm/Mens-45mm-st...-/331647615537.ebay/itm/PATEK-PHILIP...3D381387665598.ebay/itm/Luxury-Antiq...3D321862154324
Panerai Crown Guard
Question related to service...After several years of heavy use, my old man is giving me his Panerai 299. While generally in good shape, the crown guard is pretty loose and jiggles around. Certainly not useful any more in preventing ingress of water. Is there a way to tighten it myself using inexpensive tools I can buy online, or would you recommend either bringing it in to an AD for service/sending it to Panerai. All else being equal or nearly equal, I'd go with the lowest-cost option. Thanks!
Recent AD 216570 Polar Discount
Has anyone recently purchased a Polar from an ad and received a discount(how big)? It seems like they are excluded in the SS crunch. I'd like to pick one up if I could get it for a good price and have my name on it so I can pass it down to my family. Look forward to your experiences..
