At The Maurice Lacroix Watch Manufacture
A few months ago I got to visit the Maurice Lacroix watch manufacture in Saignel��gier, Switzerland. No, I still can't pronounce the name of the city, but the building itself was surprisingly modern and well-designed. While relatively new, Maurice Lacroix as a brand is also pretty new in the scheme of other Swiss watches in the area. The brand was founded in 1975 with ties to the area going back to the early 1960s I believe.What you need to know about Maurice Lacroix is that they are among the few Swiss watch brands that aim to have an independent spirit, but also a sense of affordability to their products. It is true that they have strived to push themselves upmarket in the last few years, but at heart they still want to be the Swiss watch brands for everybody.A picture in this article shows a pile of movements cased in plastic housings. 5167A questions
I read somewhere that the 5167A does not have a hacking second when setting the time. How do you set the second hand then?

Submariner no date looks dull with plastic on?
My perception of a new submariner no date would be that...it would look kind of shiny/gleaming. So when I went to take a look at it in the grey dealer I was pretty disappointed. It looked pretty dull/different from the pics I'm used to seeing at trf. Maybe it's cause of the plastic that it was covered with..not sure..Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Perpetual calendar skydweller?
With the ingenious ring command bezel developed by rolex with the ym 2 and skydweller...from an engineering and production stand point how hard would it be to alter the movement to go from 28 to 1 when transferring from feb to March... instead of just recognizing months that change from 30 or 31 days?
