That gorgeous IWC Portofino you thought was the pinnacle of refinement and gorgeousness turns out to look like an oversized Christmas chocolate coin on your wrist.But sometimes it works out.I've had an obsession with anything with an engine since I was old enough to peer under a car bonnet or look into a watch case. The two things have always sublimated into 1960s and ��70s Heuers.Collecting vintage Heuers is only a slightly slower route to the poorhouse than vintage Ferraris, so I'd always avoided getting behind the wheel and just looked from afar. Is the Royal Oak Offshore Rubber Clad Iconic or Dated?
These are really starting to grow on me - particularly the black dial rubber clad.I see these as being iconic rather than dated. For me it's like a Ferrari F430. I don't see one drive past and think it's an old Ferrari, it's an F430 However someone I know is trying to put me off buying one saying it's dated now.What says the forum?

...what happened to my old base Pammys ... are they with a good home ? being looked after ? I'm without any Pam now. I paid ?1200 for my first 000. The most I paid was ?1750 for a 176. .... we are talking this millenium ! Now they are over double that ! The 176 is the one watch I wish I'd kept, and I had 2 of them.
