Uniform Wares 200 & 300 Series Watches
Designed in London, Uniform Wares presents their second collection of timepieces with the 200 Series watches. UPDATE: Just when I was about to publish this article I learned that Uniform Wares also announced an upcoming 300 pieces Chronograph watch. The collection is based on the design on wall clocks (clearly), with a case that enhances this look featuring a lugless design. In the spirit of pieces such as the Mondaine Swiss Railways watch and the famous Max Bill watches, this functional minimalist design is a modern Bauhaus style classic and arrives with a reasonable price. Thanks to Ivan by the way for pointing this brand and collection out to me.The 100 Series watches were of the same exact design design vein. Looking at the collections side by side (you can see their 100 Series watches here), the 100 Series pieces feel like women or kid version of the 200 Series watches. Both collections are quite nice, but the 200 Series is more refined, has better components, and is larger. At 40m
MCT Sequential One Watch + Video
A new luxury brand on the block is Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps (MCT). Luxury brands seem to be popping with regularity these days, so it's important to notice the unique elements of each. MCT was founded by Denis Giguet, a French engineer who has worked with watch greats such as Rolex and Harry Winston (among others). MCT debuts with its first watch, the Sequential One in a limited edition of 99 pieces. You can view the interview with him in the video below.Like many new avant garde luxury watch, the Sequential One attempts to stand out by presenting the display of time in a novel manner. In a way that is thematically similar to Urwerk watches, the Sequential watch relies on four aperture windows with revolving triangular panes (you can call them "prism shaped"), thus providing a total of 12 displays. The hours are displayed digitally on these aperture windows, while minutes are displayed in a retrograde fashion on a disc that shifts to feature one of the hour displays. In addit
Will a bracelet ever come out for the 44mm?
Topic of discussion in title:Is 44mm much too sporty to have on a bracelet? How likely is it that a bracelet will be released to fit the beastly 44mm? Thoughts?
Speedy???

Advice - Dented gmt II case
Just got my watch back from a well respected repair shop and there is a dent in the case that I have never noticed before. I'm pretty observant and know just about every scratch on my watch and truly believe that I would have noticed something like this before. Especially a dent in the case like this, I can only imagine would take a pretty hard hit to yield this kind of result. I wanted to share this with the group to see if anyone went through a similar experience or if anyone has some general advice for me and how to go about approaching the jeweller and what the best course of action would be. Thanks in advance! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
