AP accessories
Over the last year I've been building a small collection of AP accessories from Books, Baseball Hats, Key fobs, cases, loupes, glove and golf markers. I have 3 or 4items left all Brand new and wanted to offer them up to fellow enthusiasts. I Im not looking to sell but in parallel to collecting accosories ive also built up a nice little library and instead would be open to a swap with a coffee table book on Patek, Lange, Rolex or Other luxury watch brands.
Change it up a little...Stainless Bracelet Content
Mounted the 42mm black dial on my Stainless Steel bracelet.Your thoughts?
Planet Ocean 2201.50 black dial & blue rubber?
My 2201.50 is almost 10 years old, and since my daughter was born 5 years ago my collection has remained stagnant. My shore/beach attire has moved to more navy blues.I would not want to trade any of my watches, but I was contemplating switching out the OEM black rubber strap for a OEM blue one.Has anyone ever since this or done it? How does it look? Any pictures?I am not sure how the black dial would accent the blue rubber.Any insight or opinions are appreciated. Thanks
Why get enamel dial?
In considering 5116 vs 5119, I find myself wondering, why bother?Yes, I know enamel dials are labor intensive, explaining the added cost, but why should I care? I've read about finding 2526s with enamel dials that are cracked, while ones with pristine enamel dials are very valuable, but if they crack so easily, what's the fuss about, besides making vintage collector's happy when they find a well preserved one because they are rare?
Its the weekend. WRUW this Saturday 13th January?
