Ringing in the New Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater
Jaeger-LeCoultre provided watch fans with a special treat last week, when it announced its new minute repeater. The Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater is a member of the Master Grande Tradition family, so it draws upon a classic heritage of watchmaking. But it’s also something new: this is the first time that Jaeger-LeCoultre has made an automatic minute repeater for the collection. (The previous Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater was hand wound.)The new Minute Repeater is 39 mm in diameter. Its case is made of rose gold. It measures 12.1 mm thick. It has a two-level, concave bezel which slopes down towards an elegant, grained dial with silver coloring. The hour indexes are simple, applied rose-gold markers; the only numerals to be found on the dial are the small Arabics on the minutes track, all in a standard JLC font. Upgrading RO Dual Time 18k with leather Strap to RO full 18k Perpetual Calendar
Hi all,Need some advice, I currently have a 2010 RO Dual Time 18k Yellow Gold on a leather strap. I am thinking of selling this to purchase a 2012 Perpetual Calendar Yellow Gold (full 18k strap) 25820BA.OO.0944BA.02.Questions are:1) The Perpetual Calendar is going for ?26k - is this a fair price - condition is claimed as mint from the seller.2) What would my watch be worth part ex compared to selling privately?3) If sold privately and listed on Chrono24 how long would it take to sell - I have box, papers and the purchase receipt. The watch has been used regularly so has surface scratches?4) The Perpetual calendar is more complicated so how much should I expect a service from AP to cost? 5) Would you pay an extra ?10 - ?13k and sell a RO dual time to purchase a RO Perpetual Cal?Thank you in advance for all your comments and help.
USA Prices??
Hi guys,I am traveling to Hawaii in August with the wife and I am looking at picking up either an 8500 or a 9300. What prices should I be looking at? The prices and taxes here in Australia are prohibitive...Any advice is appreciated....
Thinking about buying a PAM 000
That new watch itch is driving me crazy. I currently have an Exp 1 and LvC and am thinking about buying the PAM 000. With the new U.S. price reduction it is even more tempting. However, I could also see myself flipping it down the road. If I can get it from an AD 10% under do you think that would prevent me from taking a big hit if I flipped it within the year?
My 2 watch collection. Im done!
After years of flipping and experimenting all types of Rolex watches I decided that this is my perfect two! The now discontinued SDc4000 and the new Datejust 41. I can honestly say that IM DONE! For now lol..I feel blessed to own these classics and I'm grateful for the information obtained from the TRF. Thank youAttachment 1Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
