John Mayer On Watches: My Thoughts On The Bell & Ross BR126 Chronograph, By John Mayer
This past November I had the rare opportunity to sit on the jury of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. For one day, myself and 22 other far-more-qualified watch lovers closely examined 71 watches in 14 categories, spanning the entire world of watchmaking from the $3,100 non-complication Tudor Black Bay to a woman’s tourbillion made by Bovet that retails for over $200,000. Of all the watches that I saw, one that really stood out to me was the Bell & Ross BR126 Sport Heritage Chronograph. An entry in the Sport Watch category, The Sport Heritage Chronograph didn’t take home an award at the ceremony, but it left a lasting impression on me for holding its own against all the other watches in the running. 2 OF 20 A Closer Look At The Bell & Ross BR 126 Sport Heritage Chronograph Here’s one thing I’ve learned in my years as both an artist and a watch collector: great design costs the same to produce as bad design. 5712r Ultimate Everyday Gold Sports/Dress Watch...?
Hey All,So... I think I've decided to go PP over Rolex with my first gold watch.. as if I get a Rolex.. Im just gonna trade it in 6months for a PP... and I just watched this...https://.youtube/watch?v=Nly2eBN-PYUSo i guess my question is this... BNIB the PP 5712r can be had for around $41,000... is there any other PP model that would be BETTER suited for wearing everyday.. all the time? I feel the Nautilus series is more comfy than the regular Annual Calendars!Let me know.. or of any other brands to look at in this simiar style (but not the Royal Oak.. trading my 39mm Dual Time SS for this Patek!)Thanks!
New Collection: Rolex & Accessories
I know wallets and watches has been covered in some other posts so appologies if redundant. Once again some OCD on display. Anyone else pair their watches with accessories? Shoes, belts, key fobs, etc...
So my 116610LN finally arrived...
I was about to quit on this one. In fact, I did kinda quit by cancelling my order and requesting the refund of the deposit. The shop had estimated 1-2 months but was taking 3 already. Strangely, when I tried to cancel, a unit became available almost immediately. Here are some photos... got it on the 15th..4 days ago. Haven't even taken it outside yet. Things:-Was indeed new and the warranty is almost fully complete. Warranty card was filled in 3.5 month ago at an AD.-I had requested the bracelet resize, but later told them not to do it. They did it anyway. But the job seems good, screws look perfect and the size is OK, I think the clasp is actually very close to being perfectly centered. I thought about trying to adjust it better myself, now that I bought a screwdriver, but I don't think it is needed (anyone wants to buy a good unused rolex scredriver? :)-Seems to run well. I only timed it for 4 days, which is not enough, but the current average is +0.5s/day. The best watch I had in th
