Could AP have not made the RO bracelet more comfortable? & Incoming
I have just received my new blue dial 15400. The finish of the watch has left me speechles. I have seen so many pictures of the watch but after taking off the plastics the finishing is just so perfect. It puts my daytona to shame. I really didnt care about scratching my daytona even after I first bought it. But this, man Im going to get hurt when I see the first scratch on the case.I love how the blue dial looks under the sun as well as in doors. Such a difference. Such a wide range of colors the dial takes. Now the bracelet, although not as comfortable imo as the daytona it is a confortable bracelet. My only issue is the sharpness of the bracelet along its length. The outer of the bracelet is chamfered but the inside that is in contact with the skin is not. Omega Advice for Local Charity Shop
The Manager of Capability Scotland has asked me to look at this Omega that was handed in. She wants to know if it is real and what is wrong with it. Having taken the back off, I think we can say that it's a real Omega Date Quartz watch and going by the serial number dates to 1979. When turning the crown, there is a grating feeling and only the hour hand a date move, the second and minute hand do not move when turning the crown. Any help and advice would be appreciated. Brian

This is why I "roll" with plastics on!!!
Today is Christmas and it was my lucky day I had waited for over a week to wrap my exhaust with DEI Titanium Exhaust Wrap. Its a pretty hard job, especially doing it under the seat, but I'm happy with my first attempt. It took me about 2-3 hours to do the job.So I was pretty proud of my workmanship and I thought I'd go down to the lake and take a few photos. The photos went well as shown below.........Wrap-Rolex3-25-12-17.jpgWrap-Rolex2-25-12-17.jpgWrap-Rolex1-25-12-17.jpg However...........after I took the photos I forgot to put my watch back on my wrist and rode my bike home (2 miles) with the watch still sitting on my bike's ankle guard....I honestly forgot all about my DateJust41 and I was riding at up to 50 mph and riding around corners...It wasn't until I got home and took another look at my handiwork on the exhaust wrap that I noticed my watch still sitting on my bike Luckily my DJ41 had the plastics still on and now I'm feeling great, instead of going crazy, wondering how I co

When you've not worn your Datejust for a few days and need to reset the time/date and wind the watch, how many turns of the stem do you usually do?
