Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT SUN019P1 Review
One of the most exciting announcements at Basel last year was that Seiko was going to be bringing their coveted Prospex line to US soil. Amongst Seiko collectors and enthusiasts, the Prospex line has always been home to some of the most sought after sports models. Watches with good mechanical movements and tough cases. And while there have always been ways to get them if you were in-the-know, now that they are officially here (even being available in shop at Seiko's Madison ave store) the deed is easier.Bringing the line over wasn't the only news of course, they also had new watches and the Prospex Kinetic GMT SUN019P1 really stood out amongst the offerings. A beast of a diver, the watch had strong hints of Seiko's famous Tuna divers in both the case and the dial, but was its own thing with a new design. It just rang of what Seiko does well, especially in the case, so I knew we had to get one for review when possible. Design aside, it also is the first watch we've featured on w&w w
Seawolf Homecoming!
A long lost friend has finally come homeA Breitling Avenger Seawolf GREY Dial. I had one a few years ago and sold it and ever since I had regretted letting it go. I love the matte Grey color and think its one of the best around. I've got a Pro II Bracelet flapping it's way from NYC so the rubber will hold me the rest of the week. I may even try an Ocean Racer on it to see which rubber I'll keep.
Went to the AD to get a GV..BUT
I ended up falling in love with something else...i could NOT pass it up...i havent felt love like this in a while...all i can say is WOW! this might get moved...but I wanted to share! I LOVE THIS WATCH! brand new BREITLING COLT II AUTOMATIC BLACK DIAL!!!!!! what a beauty at 41mm..black dial is gorgeous..LUME IS AMAZING..movement is COSC and very accurate so far. the colt in red...it just caught my eye..and i fell in love! the high polish case/bracelet...i just couldnt walk away without it..so here she is.sorry for the crappy iphone pics, but i was so excited to share her with you! i included a stock photo to make up for it a bit. I finally figured it out at the AD when I tried the gv and the breitling colt II on side by side...i just had to go with the one i loved..and also..this is the same model watch worn by john travolta in taking of peltham 123! which was cool as hell to see the scene...

You all know what they look like so no box shots, but wrist shots from the park in front of my house. Lovely day here in Sydney 29c and sunny, we could do with rain. In one the city is in focus and the watch not, the second is of Puffy's potential new home in Pyrmont, in that one the watch is in focus.Very excited to have joined the PP world, still love my Rolex and other watches as well, I think I am now done, I have all my favourites. One day I may swap my DJ for a DD but I think I have all the lovely watches I could ever want.
16710 P Serial Number Rolex Logo Dial HELP
Greetings, I am relatively new to the forum but found the feedback from my first post quite helpful.Last week I did a trade plus cash deal for a new to me, P Serial Number 16710 (no box or papers). The seller is a licensed Jeweler who has been in the secondary watch market for over 30 years and he has a physical location in the French Quarter of New Orleans. I have known him about ten years and sold him several Rolex as well as he purchases (and pays the best in town) for scrap gold and silver. I trust him, but we can all get fooled...with that said, while looking at my new watch under a strong loupe, I found three items that are giving me mild heart palpitations (please see photos):1. The under line on the L in the ROLEX seems to be wavy, like two bumps before it straightens out.2. Same for the under line in in the E in ROLEX.3. A small white smudge of font under the S in GMT MASTER III hope I am not being too nit picky, but this is a reference I have wanted for years and just want to
