Roc - msrp, purch price, retained value
So, first and foremost I have only recently even began to consider AP as an add to my small collection and one single watch fits the bill.....the ROC. Now I'd love either a blue or black dial but know nothing about the AP market. I know msrp is about 23k but beyond that, what should I expect to pay at an AD? what discounts have you guys worked out? hows the value retention? Stepping from Rolex into another brand feels like walking through a mine field! But man thats a damn fine watch
Breitling premier 777 chronograph info?
Hello all. I am in the market for a chronograph and one of the sellers I like is offering a vintage rose gold breitling 777 premier 2 register Chrono at 36 mm. I do not know the line but was immediately attracted to it. Anywhere I can find some info about this model, vintage breitling in general, things I should look out for, etc? New POC 9300 (w/ Sub-C) - Review & Thoughts
First off, I wanted to thank Alfred (member: FNFZ4) for a great transaction. I've been looking to buy this POC for over a year and was thrilled with the price & speed in which Alfred was able to get the exact POC I was looking for. I've bought numerous watches over the years from multiple sources; I can say without hesitation that Alfred is now my 'Go To Guy'...so much so that I'm already thinking of buying another watch (Ladies Speedmaster) for my wife via Alfred. If you're looking for the BEST price and unbeatable service, look no further than Alfred. Thanks again! Now onto the watch & brief history. For those that don't know, I'm a HUGE Omega Chrono fan...my SMP Chrono was the watch I feel in love w/ as a teenager and was my first 'real watch' purchase years ago. I use to be strictly an 'Omega Guy', but after buying a SD4000 about 5 years ago I started to really fall for Rolex too. After numerous Subs (16610's, LVs), SD/DSSD and most recently my beloved Sub-C, there's
Patek vs IWC
Hi guysI wanted to pick your brain a bit regarding my decision of acquiring a PP Nautilus. Over the past couple of months I have been going back and forward between the 5712 steel, 5712R and even 5726. I think that I have it narrowed down to those 3. As you all know, finding a nautilus my AD has is not easy and my AD has them on order. Maybe next week I will see the light and finally be able to try them on before pulling the trigger. Speaking with my AD, I remember almost a year and a half ago that I was obsessed with the IWC portuguese Perpetual Calendar IW502307Description of the watch: IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar Watches. 44.2 mm 18K white gold case, sapphire-glass back, ardoise dial, pellaton automatic winding calibre 51613 movement with power reserve display, perpetual calendar with displays for the date, day, month, year in four digits and perpetual moon phase, small hacking seconds, Glucydur?* beryllium alloy balance with high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms, B
