Seamaster calender
Heres a nice near mint piece i won off ebay tonight, a 1950's second generation semaster calender, with its original ss bracelet which is rare and its orginal box.. even rarer!! (sellers pics) i really like the thick lugged semasters of the 1950's and can be still had for a bargain... $450 for this one!!!will go well with may first generation semaster calender with date at 6pm.. i actually prefer this date configuration and pity more manufacturers dont make them like this..

Pam 240 vs Pam 510
Hello everyone, It's my first time in this community and I'm looking for some advice. I'm trying to consider between a PAM 240 and PAM 510. Both are second hand at the exact same price. Here's a brief comparison:PAM 510:Full set 2014 P serial Mild scratches on the sidesPAM 240:Watch onlySerial (unsure I'll update as soon as I get the info) It's my first Panerai and I have a preference towards the 510's sandwich dials, but I think the 240 has its merits as well (titanium case, automatic, date). My question here is: which one do you guys think is better in terms of accuracy (is the p.9000 really that inaccurate) / serviceability (in house movement vs. Valjoux) / complications (date or no date?) / looks (sandwich dial or sausage)?
To Patina or Not!!
I have been looking for a stainless Sub for everyday.I keep seeing some of the older 16610's that have some patina on dual and hands that I find very appealing. Much like myself, i like the look old work new visual.Patina aside, I have also come across some of the 16800 transitional models.Curious what folks think about older Subs for daily wear and what's the story on the transitional Sub model!Thoughts?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
