How has the RO evolved/improved from the 5402 to the 15400?
So I have read the things to know sticky and many of the other threads about Royal Oaks but I am curious as to what has improved with newer movements and references... I see a lot of the issues are surrounding the 5402 and the quartz versions, are there any issues other than service expense and bezel scratches that still make the 15300 or the 15400 a headache to own at times?

Breitling Rubber Strap Spring Bars
Just purchased an OEM Breitling rubber strap for my Galactic II Chrono and I have read that a rubber strap requires a slightly longer set of spring bars. For bracelets 22mm, 23mm for rubber. I went ahead and used the standard 22mm bars that came with the watch and the fit is fine. Am I missing something here?Is there a know issue with using the 22mm bars, sure don't want to take a chance of losing the watch. Can any experts chime in?

Whilst I considered my beautiful Speedmaster professional ST145.022 to be as close to a keeper as I'm ever likely to have, of late I've been suffering increasingly lustful feelings brought on by photos of the Ed White 105.003 and sure enough I gave in to temptation when an absolute gem popped up on TZ. Please help new watch owner identify this Omega Constellation
Hey guys. Newly registered user to this forum, but I have been on here before, checking out some awesome watches.But anyways, my dad has recently let me have his Omega Connie that he's had for some time. I am unsurprisingly super excited about this inheritance, but also very curious about this watch. I've searched and searched for details about this watch, but couldn't find anything :/All I know about this watch is that my dad got it from a friend in around 1993. Rolex back from Rik
Just got my DJ back from Rik. This is a very special Rolex to me as it was owned by my friend who passed away a few years ago unexpectedly at the age of 43. I dont think he had ever had it serviced and has some wear and tear. Rik did a full service and polish. I wish I had good before pics. but here are the afters. I highly recommend him.
