Watches NEWS
So I love my Diver....
but I can't get the 44mm ceramic bezel out of my mind. I've been after one since they first came out. And my diver filled the void for a while, but I think j need the 44. The diver is a BEAUTIFUL watch. So sell made and refined for a dice watch but I have huge wrists and need that size. Keep both? Trade plus cash? Sell the diver while they are hot and hope to find a smokin deal on the 44? What to do!!! These are the things that keep my up after a wonderful thanksgiving! Hope you all had a great Holliday. I am thankful for my watch collection and my friends who I have made through it. We are all lucky people to play with such wonderful toys.
Why no "Fat" Spring bars on Omega dive watches
Omega has a history of producing dive watches that is on a par with Rolex, I have often wondered why they didn't use fat spring bars on their professional watches. Rolex and Seiko felt the need, but not Omega. How much weaker are the standard spring bars? Is there any need for fat ones?
Double Eagle
Anyone have this model? I am sorta looking at them pretty interested in them.
DeVille 1 month review
Hey everyone, it's been just over one month now with my DeVille and I thought I would give a little update/review on the watch.Omega De VillE Hour Vision Specifications:Caliber: Omega 8501 (39 jewels)Power Reserve: 60 hoursCase: 41mm 18ct. red gold with sapphire back and sides.Water Resistant: 100m/330ftDesign and BuildI'm very impressed with the durability of this watch. Like all Rolex watches, this is a watch i'm not afraid to use and wear. It has a domed sapphire crystal over the face, and a sapphire crystal back which exposes the beautiful 8501 caliber movement that boasts an 18ct. red gold rotor and balance bridge to match the rest of the case. See-through casebacks are fairly common these days, but what is different about this watch is that it also has sapphire crystal sides (all around the watch, including between the lugs). While what you can actually see through the sides was a little disappointing to me (not sure what I was expecting to see anyways), I am impressed that t
InCAMing
I posted this at P, but I must post this incoming here too. Hope it's not too frowned upon and I swear it stops here! A few weeks ago I had an incoming of a DSOTM after debating between that new beauty and the beauty that had held my gaze longer. And though the DSOTM is still a piece I'd love to own and keep, the time wasn't now. So I made a deal for a freshly serviced 233! I always looked at this piece as my Panerai grail. The domed crystal, power reserve, and the dial distortion i found irresistible. Long story short, this has been my dream PAM for a long time. I still can't believe I finally own one. Thanks to everyone in my last thread regarding this decision. This one is a keeper and it feels soooo good to have that itch finally scratched. On to the wrist shots!
