Montblanc Metamorphosis II Re-Interprets The Brand's Unique Transforming Dial
746 components inside a 52 millimeter wide, perfectly round case in red gold: this is the Montblanc Metamorphosis II in one sentence. As the name and those whopping figures suggest, there is a lot more going on, however C especially since we are talking about not one, but two watches here C so let us give this new-for-2014 piece the attention it deserves. The Montblanc Metamorphosis II watch follows its first transforming predecessor, the Montblanc Metamorphosis from 2010 (which we debuted here). In consideration of those who may?not be familiar with the original Montblanc Metamorphosis, and hence, the concept behind this wild model, allow?us to add a brief introduction. The Metamorphosis, as its name suggests, is all about a transforming watch that undergoes massive changes upon the request of its owner. Aqua Terra Skyfall 41.5mm vs Grand Seiko SBG083
I wonder what you guys think of the above comparison?Firstly, I absolutely adore both of these models. This is possibly the first comparison I can think of where I cannot decide the winner. Styling, finish and pricing appear very similar. Although the GS is a limited edition of 700, the 41.5mm Skyfall whilst not limited appears very rare. I am fascinated to know what you guys think? Which edges it for you?I cannot pick a winner 🤔
Looking at an Omega watch
Hi Guys,My wife is going to get me a new watch for my birthday next month. I was looking at the Omega Seamaster GMT (2234.50.00) and the Railmaster (2504.52.00) at a local AD.Are these good models? Is there any others in this price range I sould look at? I want to keep it under $3K (CAD). I am leaning toward the Seamaster GMT I am looking for something more sporty to ware on the weekend. Thanks,Eric
5205g dial options
I once heard that light color dials seem to wear slightly larger than darker ones. Not sure I'm fully convinced by this statement, but I wonder what your views are. I'm particularly interested in the 5205g. Does the light grey model wear any larger than the other 5205g model (black/dark grey)? I never had the chance to handle the two models at the same time. Thanks
