What kind of movement does my 1968 Seamaster De ville have?
Hi guys, I have a 1968 omega seamaster de ville with the date, and i am not sure if it was 24 jewels or 17 jewels. Does anybody know the movement in this watch? Also, what movement did the 1967 de ville have and what are the esthetic differences between the 1967 and the 1968? Thanks a lot -Andrew
Fun new colors...
For my new 682. Got to love the E-Boutique!
Just started dipping into new Parerai's
I was looking at watches recently and became intrigued with the history and style of the Luminor line.I have purchased a 510 and 562 within the last month and must say, I LOVE THESE WATCHES!!The look , the feel, the accuracy...everything is so cool and nice.Just an observation, that 5000 8 hr movement is amazingly accurate this far. Both watches running at +/- 2 seconds per day, well within COSC standards.I have been a dedicated Zenith and Omega collector for many years and its sooo nice to not have to use a winder on these PAMs. Just wind once a week, and switch around to whatever.Anybody got an opinion as to what would be a good addition to my new family?I rely soley on reputable reselllers who sell only new, carry their own warranty and have been in biz for over 20-30 years so it cant be the latest lineup of Luminors.
Broke down and ordered a Bergeon 7825 tool
I can't stand the fact that I risk damaging my GMT by using anything but a great set of these tweezers. I ordered them out of Oakland CA. That was the only US company I could find that had them. I try not to shop Ebay if I can avoid it. Now the wait for them to arrive so I can swap out straps and bracelets on my own.Do I need to mask the lugs with tape with these?
