I now have a collection! 3570.50
Hi omega owners,Excited to join the Speedmaster prof. club! This watch is just amazing. The matte dial, white hands, and hersalite crystal make this such unique piece. I find joy in winding this bad boy every morning.Since my first high quality watch purchase in Dec. 13' (114060), I've been obsessed with developing a good thoughtful collection of watches. After careful consideration, my second piece was a no brainer. A true classic.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Slightly off-topic Omega post...
I had the opportunity to buy (but passed it up) a Speedmaster with the new 9300 Omega movement. I am starting to regret not seizing the opportunity. The watch was absolutely gorgeous. Anyone own one of these or had the pleasure of wearing one? Interested to hear your take.
Swap 116520 & 16610LV for 116719
Got the option to swap my 2004 16610LV AND my Black Dial 2002 116520 for an early 116719 White Gold GMT Master II.Do I or don't I?
Swiss Made Copies/'Fakes'.
How do Swiss companies get away with copying all the styling cues of, not just Rolex, but other 'high end' watchmakers and openly advertising them on t'internet?Given that Rolex in particular are seen by some, as having an almost tyrannical control over the sale and marketing of their products. How do companies like Steinhart, et al, that promote their watches as, 'Swiss Made' manage to exist, apparently, manufacturing, blatant copies, right under the noses of the swiss watch hierarchy?[attach]930226[/att
