Bathys Cesium 133 Atomic Clock Watch Now On Kickstarter
Bathys is, without a doubt, one of the more unique American watch brands currently in operation. We know this because out of nowhere they developed the world's first atomic clock wrist watch. Prior to last year, it was sort of an idiosyncratic?brand, with those who knew of the brand singing it's high praises (but more weren't even aware of their watches). That all changed in late 2013, when news of them creating a watch accurate to 1 second in 1000 years began to come out.How this is done is more a feat of technical wizardry than anything, and not something you'd expect to see in a watch. Ariel's preview and hands-on time with the prototype ?cover a lot of the technical details, but suffice it to sayCthis watch houses it's own atomic clock, and generates (on-board) the signal that keeps the formerly-quartz movement on track. As our articles progressed, pricing has come down. Calatrava 96
Hi everyone. So I've found a 96 I'm eager to get but it does have initials on the back. Was wondering about your thoughts on this if it is otherwise a clean watch with original band and buckle. What do you think would be a fair price without box or papers? Thanks for your time.
116655 + BLNR for BLRO
As the title suggests, I've been back and forth on this idea for the better part of the last year or so. The BLNR is more or less a daily for me, the 116655 is great for weekends... they make a pretty good combo. With the BLRO potentially on the way out, I'm having this internal debate again in my mind. There is no deal in the works, but I think a straight up trade is pretty fair based on what I've seen in the secondary market.I mentioned BLNR as a daily, but I do rotate frequently during the weeks too, and would like to consolidate my smallish collection to some extent; ideally dropping two sports watches for one and picking up a dress piece. Thoughts?
Option 1 or 2?
