PIAGET Altiplano 900P Only Watch 2015
To join the fight against Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) which affects almost 250,000 boys worldwide, Piaget has designed a unique version of its Altiplano especially for Only Watch. This watch will be auctioned off along with forty other timekeeping devices on November 7th. Famous for being the world's thinnest mechanical watch, the Altiplano model is fitted with a manual wind calibre which you can glimpse on the front and back. The slim figure doesn't allow for a dial (3.65mm thick) but the black satin-finish surface gleams in the 38mm white gold case. The hours and minutes tick by beneath two red baton-shape hands which glide over a painstakingly graduated silver ring. The hour rim switches between long single and double-thickness black indices off-centre in the top left of the watch. The power reserve lasts up to 48 hours. Unique piece C onlywatch
1st AP! Can someone explain how to get the extra year of warranty?
I think I was too busy looking at the watch to understand what my Sales Rep was saying. Something like, take the watch back to the AD after one year to get sent to the service center in Miami, and you automatically get 1 year of warranty on the watch? Obligatory Wrist Shot. 15400
Fed up
I (still, but for how long?) have a good job, a good family, a good life and good health. I can indulge in some of the finer things in life. I'm a TRF bastid . What could one ask for more?Well..... To be the proprietor of a small caf in Ericeira, Portugal. Or to live in Malang, Indonesia. As our daughter is about to 'leave the nest', Anne and myself are contemplating such a move ever more and ever more seriously. Our country is changing rapidly and I must say, not to the good. To put it bluntly, we are fed up with it.We feel stangled by all the rules, suffocated by the ever rising taxes and lack of compasion. Tax free day starts here on the 27th of July. Insane! Although it probably will remain a pipe dream, I can't get it out of my head. So, are there any other esteemed TRF members that sometimes have the same thoughts?
Looking to get into Paneri...
I've been reading up on Paneri and looking through this forum lately. I like the cases with crown guards the best. I also like the dials where the numbers are cut out and the lume is underneath. Movement isn't a huge deal to me. What series would be the best for me to start looking at? Any help would be appreciated!
Peyton wears Panerai!!
