50Th anniversary Omega Speedmaster
Hello everyone I'm new to TRF and have a question:I have a Omega 50TH Anniversary Limited Edition number 0329/5957 in excellent condition without B&P. I purchesed it pre-owned from an authorized Omega dealer. What do you think its worth if I wanted to re-sell?. I tried to post a picture but I can because I have not posted 16 post yet. I am in the market for a PO and am just at the beginning of the learning curve, so please bare with me. Is Omega making the PO with both the sapphire caseback as well as the standard steel caseback? After many months of hunting, I finally found a 116520 black dial, 2016, NOS but most of the stickers were taken out.I got it for ��12k from a UK watch trader, it is the very last of the steel bezel produced. Some may say I am crazy for buying a Daytona at that price, but it is the only way to get one in UK.With a couple of K�� more I could have purchased a ceramic one, from a grey market shop of course as they is no way I could get one from an AD.hope I did the right choice. . .
Could the SS Daytona Price Increase 20%?
The Patek sub-forum is all abuzz about Patek's announcement yesterday to increase the price of the white-hot Nautilus stainless steel line (5711-1A and 5712-1A) by about 20% worldwide effective March 1. Price increases, if any, for the rest of the lines have not yet been announced and may be announced at Basil.Gray market prices of these SS Pateks have been well above theoretical MSRP for some time and are now even higher than they've been. Sound familiar?Sooooo....does anyone think this might happen with Rolex and SS Daytona prices?
