Version of ROO case back
Hi guys,I have noticed that there are at least two versions of case back for the same ROO model. For example in the below two pics, both are ROO 26170 with H serial no. but has different font and lettering arrangement of the Offshore. Does anybody knows which one is a newer version and since when it is available to ROO?Thanks in advance.
Question about helium valve on left side...
For those of you who own an that has the helium escape valve on the left-hand side, do you find this to be uncomfortable? I am In the market for a good watch, and have previously been looking at Rolex (Submariner, yacht Master, and DJ2). But after looking at the Seamaster Pro 300m, I have to say that it looks more visually appealing then most of the Rolex brands I have tried on.
Thanks guys, 27days and counting at + or - 0 zero seconds
I have been keeping track of my new Planet Oceans accuracy with a detailed log of its accuracy. On the wrist and off of the wrist resting positions have been noted. So far I am still at + or - 0 (Zero) seconds in 26 days and countingI This accuracy in unprecedented with any automatics I have ever owned or come across. My PO has beaten my Tag Heuer quartz 3 times now. (Tag seems to gain .50 seconds in 7 days) I have been tracking it with the official time sites noted at the bottom. From what I have noted so far. My watch gains about 1/8th to 1/4 a second all day on my wrist. It loses the same with a face-up resting position at night. When I bought the my new Planet Ocean I would have been happy with + or - 3 seconds in 24hrs. I would have been ecstatic with + or - 1.5-2.0 seconds in 24hrs. At this point I am giddy beyond belief.tycho.usno.navy.mil/simpletime.htmlandtime.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java
Passing the time...
Waiting for the NY Exhibition and looking forward to meeting some of you in NYC! Next week I will also get to see the new Basel releases in the metal, so this summer and Patek seem to be going hand in hand. Have a good weekend.
Automatic movements and vibration
This is more of a movement question vs a Rolex specific question. What are some activities where you wouldn't want to wear a watch with an automatic movement?I'm thinking of high vibration situations like riding a motorcycle or pushing a lawn mower. Can you do damage to an automatic movement this way?
