Introducing The Cartier Tank Anglaise: A New Tank Using Cartier's In-House Movement
We already showed you a new, super-slim tank from Cartier at SIHH 2012 in the Louis Cartier XL Slimline.? But, the Louis Cartier is not a new case.? And, while the Louis Cartier did answer collectors' calls for a Tank with a mechanical movement, it uses a Piaget, and not a Cartier movement.?Then, there is the brand new Tank Anglaise - the big story from the tank category of watches at Cartier 2012.? The Anglaise is the third model to be attributed to a particular region, following the Ame?ricaine and Tank Franc?aise.?? The case to the Anglaise is bulkier than the other two, but features a rounded, ergonomic profile and has a crown that is integrated right into the signature parallel brancards.? This watch will be available in three different sizes, in both mens and womens pieces, but the clear favorite is the large sized men's watch, as that is the piece that will use Cartier's excellent in-house 1904MC caliber.? It should be noted that the white gold version, as pictured above, is com

My first complicated Patek
I'm so excited that I got my first complicated Patek today. I've debated for quite some time between a few models, and had narrowed it down to the 5235G, 5070G, or 5960P-016. The other challenge was actually finding the watches, as two of them are discontinued and the 5235G is not exactly a dime a dozen I would gladly own all three, but unfortunately my wallet disagrees, so thus the journey to narrow it down to one. Very difficult decision as each watch is unique and grail worthy in their own rights, but in the end the complications, stunning black dial, and platinum won out. Big thanks to this great forum and members for all their support throughout this journey, and below are some quick shots of my 5960
I think I'm done with Rolex for a while.
I think I've covered all the bases as far as Rolex goes at the moment. Can't see room for a Sub in here, and not massive on the Daytona's (have a Speedmaster instead). The only thing I may find space for is a Datejust further down the line.I have a few other watches as well as these, a Tag, a Bulova, 3 Omega and 1 more Rolex GMT in TT. All the watches are quite sporty. All that's missing is something on a leather/dressy strap. Your suggestions would be appreciated.
