The Value Proposition: The Mido Baroncelli Heritage, A Great Looking Simple Watch At A Great Price
Mido is a Swatch Group brand that doesn't have a tremendous amount of mindshare among wristwatch enthusiasts in the United States, although the company's been around for some time (founded in 1918) and the Group has retailers for Mido watches around the world. Its current collections have preserved some of the company's more popular vintage models, including the Multifort, Commander, and Ocean Star lines, and they've just announced a new model in the Baroncelli line: the Baroncelli Heritage. This is not a watch that's necessarily going to take the world by storm, but it doesn't need to: it's a good-looking watch for just a bit over $1,000, that's noticeably better thought out than a lot of its competition. 1 OF 4 Mido, for some time now, has been positioning itself as a company that takes design cues from world architecture – to be completely candid, the connection can sometimes seem a bit tenuous. The Rarest AP?
Would love to hear your thoughts on what you think is the rarest AP as in smallest number produced? I'm aware of limited edition boutique waches such as the Swiss edition and Italian which I believe both are 1 of 50 or something like that. Look forward to seeing what you come back and would love to see some pictures if anyone is lucky enough to own one!
Ap FC Diver

The AP Diver, Setting the date and the movement.
Just gotten what is my first AP last week, and it's this SS Diver. My dealer advised to set the quick date after 6pm, but according to the manual it says between 1am C 6pm. To avoid any contradiction, which should be the right way to do it?Coming from the Rolexes, I've never had the need to worry about such stuffs. What are the important things to lookout for with this AP movement to avoid any unnecessary harm?
Anyone with the newer 39.7mm Speedmaster..?
I am curious if anyone has acquired the 39.7mm speedmaster that looks a lot like the vintage speedmaster. The 42mm speedmaster wears too large for me. Other omega users have told me I should avoid the 38mm 3510 speedmaster. The 39.7 size could be a perfect fit- requesting wrist shots from my fellow collectors...
