What size RO would be best?
I've got my heart set on a white face RO, but I'm torn between 37 and 39mm. I've got 6 wrists, so I'm fairly sure the 41mm isn't even a consideration. It'll be a daily wearer, so I want something that's not going to draw as much attention as a ROO. What would people suggest for someone with my rather small wrists?I know the obvious answer is visit a AD and try a few sizes on but I don't think I'll have time over the next month.
AT 38.5 mm
Today I attended Omega AD here and looked at AT 38,5 mm/cal. 8500/Si hairspring/ black dial/SS bracelet. I felt the watch very fine on my wrist. Only I appreciate a steel case back. Any experience with that model?
No AD in my area
My home is in rural Texas, about 1.5 hours from Austin. There is no AD near by and I'm interested in buying a 42mm PO. Can anyone recommend an AD that will ship to Texas? I really don't care where they are located, out of TX saves me a bit on sales tax, but really want to purchase from an AD. Another semi-related question - is there significant differentiation in the US on price from AD to AD or do they all sell at MSRP? Obviously I'm new to this so any advice is appreciated. I understand from reading this forum that pricing is a sensitive issue with Omega so if a private message is a more appropriate way to communicate please let me know. Thanks!
How much discount should I ask for a white Explorer II
Hello, I'm looking to purchase a white Explorer II from an AD for the following reasons:1.) I'm hoping that by being a repeat customer, that will help me move up the waiting list for the Daytona C.2.) For some reason, after buying a 116610LN (1st one that I bought) only 2 weeks ago, I feel the need... er, the want to get a sibling for it, and I think that I should probably get one with a white dial since the SubC already has a black one. (Hopefully this doesn't turn into an addiction or I might need to close my 401K really early haha :O)3.) I like the way it looks, it's simple and contemporary/modern (especially w/ a rubber bracelet).Based on the stuff that I've read from here, the Exp II isn't really that popular so I'm wondering if the AD will give me a discount for that reason and maybe for being a repeat customer. I paid MSRP+tax for my SubC btw. Thanks in advance! :)
Benefits of a SS Watch
Well , I must say that I am pleased with the SD4K wearability... For one , it’s keeping excellent time ... Two, it’s pretty comfy with the divers extension removed...Three, I LOVE THAT I DON’T HAVE TO WIPE OFF THEFINGERPRINTS EVERY DAY CAUSE YOU CAN’T SEE THEM!!! I still love my Bluesy but everyday or every other day you can see the fingerprints !!!! Where it made contact with skin or something that cause the Gold pcl’s on the bracelet or The glidelock clasp to be dirty and lose its luster and I’m OCD!!! Ok rant over ... How long has it been since it took a nice soapy bath ???
