Pita Barcelona Oceana Diver's Watch: Sounds Delicious, Looks Great
Doesn't Pita Barcelona sound like a hip new Middle Eastern and Spanish fusion cuisine restaurant? Sounds yummy. Actually it isn't even edible (darn, but good restaurant idea), but it is rather a spectacular watch brand. Today you'll hear about my favorite watch in their line, the Oceana Diver. This watch just has so much character I am overwhelmed with desire for it. Really.. let me tell you why you should like it too. Oh, and I don't think it has been officially released yet - they have been working on it for a while, getting it just right. The good news is that the watch is supposed to eventually be available in a host of materials and a few colors (highly customizable). Thus, someone could be having this watch in steel, another in a various shade of gold, and still another person might have a platinum Oceana. The watch will also be available in titanium. Watch Spotting: Ellen DeGeneres Wearing A Vintage Rolex Daytona 6265 While Interviewing President Ob
Everyone knows Ellen DeGeneres – the mononymously famous Ellen (yes, that is a real word, we didn't make it up) is one of the best known and best liked people not just on TV, but in show business in general, and like many of you, we remember her turn as an Academy Awards host with a lot of pleasure. Not that that's setting the bar very high for success, but, you know, still. 1 OF 1 Anyway, she recently interviewed President Barack Obama for a segment of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and wouldn't you know it, on her wrist was a pretty great watch: a Rolex Daytona, reference 6265, in gold, looking to be from the 1970s. AP Dual Time
Hey all,I've found a good price for a pre owned 36mm AP Dual Time from a store in NY ($9k). It looks in good condition but has no papers which I'm told is common for watches that age (c.16 years). I love the watch but I'm worried about verification of authenticity (how can I do this without sending it for a service) - I'm not even sure there are that many fakes for this watch still in circulation...? Also, I'm thoughtful about how much a service would cost for a watch this old. Obviously it depends on a number of factors but an average cost would be helpful. Or should I just stay away...??Thanks in advance.
