Director Barry Levinson, Chinese actress Jiang Wenli, Chinese director Wang Quanan also gave film parts of their career for the charity auction. Mr. Levinson was donated to the original manuscript of Rain Man, the film which won Oscar for best film, Best Director, best actor, and Best writer at the 61st Oscar. Ms. Jiang Wenli has chosen a manuscript of his first film as Director and Mr. Wang Quanan donated one of his beloved film recorders. These three pieces and a limited edition jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces attracted by the high tender price.

I gave my Black Bond Chronograph to my dad as a present last month... I gave it to him for all the sacrifices he made as a parent by working at two jobs to put me and my sisters through college!!! He really never got any big present like this and has always loved the old blue chronograph... also if there were presents for mom and dad it was usually a combined present for mom and dad and it was usually what mom wanted and dad just went along with it (new stuff for the house or if it was for him a small power tool)... but this time, it was just gonna be a big surprise for him and it was, :DSo since the Bond was gone I have been rocking the Casio Riseman G-Shock that my loving GF gave me for Xmas...But finally, on March 4th... I did it... I went to the favorite Omega AD store and procured this... the watch I've been lusting for since January...Now next on the list a Omega Speedmaster MoonWatch... and then my saving for my first Rolex, :D hopefully a SS Sub (2010 when it gets upgraded)...

Funny how things grow on you...
I thought the 5711 was the premier Nautilus but the more and more I see the 5712 the more I can't stop thinking about it. The shades of blue in different angles mixed with the red and MP get me more each time I see one. Some of the pics on Instagram are phenomenal. Those who has followed my posts know that I'm a huge 5167 fan, however I might have to make the 5712 my first Patek. I realize in the end I'll get both but know I won't be completely satisfied should I spring for the aqua first.Arnaud, you're spot on buddy. You preach that it grows on you and couldn't be more right.
