What is the best price with discount from AD for this watch???
Stainless Steel AP & PP Combo?
Have a 15400 (black dial) that I like a lot and JLC deep sea chrono (42mm) that doesnt sing to me. Thinking about swapping the JLC (and cash) for a 5167, but then will have two black dialed watches. Alternative is more cash to get a 5711 or add the 15400 (and more cash) to the trade and get a 15202 plus 5167. Appreciate advice.
New POC 9300 (w/ Sub-C) - Review & Thoughts
First off, I wanted to thank Alfred (member: FNFZ4) for a great transaction. I've been looking to buy this POC for over a year and was thrilled with the price & speed in which Alfred was able to get the exact POC I was looking for. I've bought numerous watches over the years from multiple sources; I can say without hesitation that Alfred is now my 'Go To Guy'...so much so that I'm already thinking of buying another watch (Ladies Speedmaster) for my wife via Alfred. If you're looking for the BEST price and unbeatable service, look no further than Alfred. Thanks again! Now onto the watch & brief history. For those that don't know, I'm a HUGE Omega Chrono fan...my SMP Chrono was the watch I feel in love w/ as a teenager and was my first 'real watch' purchase years ago. I use to be strictly an 'Omega Guy', but after buying a SD4000 about 5 years ago I started to really fall for Rolex too. After numerous Subs (16610's, LVs), SD/DSSD and most recently my beloved Sub-C, there's
Patek 5167 or Rolex 116655?
What would your choice be to keep? Have a 5726, 5167, 116655, and 116610lv currently. Also have a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Milspec incoming. What would you keep and why?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Some thoughts on the Daytona White Gold as well as info from an AD......
First off, I'm considering adding to my current 3 watch collection with the purchase of an IWC Portuguese Chrono Auto Blue dial, along with either 1 of the following:1. Rolex Daytona in white gold with Oysterflex strap (haven't been able to see in person yet). 2. Rolex YM with Everose gold case and Oysterflex strap (so far my favorite higher end rolex that I have been able to see and try on in person) and the only 'gold' color rolex I would ever consider (among everose or yellow gold watches).3. PP Nautilus 5726 with a black leather strap -- my holy grail watch4. AP 39mm Jumbo Royal Oak with dark blue dial and titanium/platinum case (limited to 250 pieces-- and my 'holy grail' 1b to the PP). If I can't get this, then the SS 39 mm Jumbo with blue dial. Now, regarding the Rolexes, this is what I've been told regarding value retention between the two I'm looking at: -The AD told me that while the white gold Daytona is currently selling very well among grey market dealers (i.e. littl
