What to do with my submariner ?
Hey guys ,I've owned this submariner for around 8 months now and I have really enjoyed it. Recently I noticed I have a copper looking substance on the underside of the crystal a bit right of center. Would you guys get this fixed ? I'm curious about shipping to Rsc. Any risk of them scratching the watch repairing it ?I am pretty disappointed as I selected this sub from about 4 examples because it had good alignment of the cyclops , bezel , and engraved rehaut. used submariner 16610 vs new explorer (HELP!)
Okay guys, I have a big debate going on. I have a $6500 Budget for a new watch. Do I buy a used 10 year old Submariner date or buy a new Explorer. It seems most Submariners date 16610 in my price range will be around 10 years old. Most have either no box and no papers or have no service history. I have found one from Jewelers on time for $6500 no box and no papers but has recently been serviced by them ($500). It comes with 2 year warranty. It is a 2005 model. They seem very trust worthy. I can pick up a brand new explorer from a trusted seller for slightly under the $6500.
